Who you are

A senior T&E attorney who has built a practice of your own. You are exceptional at the work. You are also relentless about how it gets delivered. You believe AI is going to reshape how attorneys spend their time, and you want to be part of designing what comes next rather than reacting to it.

What you'll do

Lead the founding T&E practice inside Jay, LLP. Bring on clients, define the standard of care, the client experience, and the role of the attorney in an AI-native firm. Help recruit and mentor the legal team. Work with the founding team to shape the operating system the practice runs on.

Why now

This is the first attorney leadership hire at Jay. You will set the tone of the firm — for the clients we serve, for the attorneys who join, for the platform that gets built.

Who you are

Victor is our founding engineer — we're growing the team and want to meet exceptional engineers who want to build, not maintain. You have shipped real production systems and move fluidly across the stack. You lean into the use of AI and are eager to apply it in a high-impact domain. You are drawn to the messiness of a complex, regulated services business rather than put off by it.

What you'll do

Build the core of Jay's operating system alongside the founding team — the intake, drafting, matter management, scheduling, billing, and client-communication workflows that Jay's own firm and our partner attorneys run on. Own features end to end, from data model to interface. Work directly with attorneys to ensure the software serves them and their clients.

Why now

This is one of the first engineering hires at Jay. You will help set the technical foundation, the culture, and the bar for everything we build after — and your work will reach attorneys and clients almost immediately.
